The many layers of a post partum experience

It captures the nuance and multitude of layers within the post partum experience.

The abundance, creation, the flowering of new life, a time of heart, the ripeness in body, in essence, the freedom from the old and the trappings of the new, feeling caged, opening the soul, the loss, the death, the grief, the tenderness, the shedding, the receiving, the nurturing, the nectar.

So much intertwined. It is no wonder it is a time for slow as we orientate to our new selves as well as our new child.
