Anatomy Within
A Online Pelvic Mapping Workshop - Monday 26th October 2026
MONDAY 26th October 6pm-7.30pm UK time
Pelvic literacy through mapping and self touch
90-minute practice followed by a live Q&A. The Q&A will not be recorded.
This workshop is a guided practice in exploring our anatomy through deliberate, reverent, unhurried self-touch.
When we are well orientated to our anatomical landscape we can learn to track our body and the systems within it, across the shifting seasons of our lives.
This is a practice in becoming more familiar with your own pelvic landscape and begin to sensitise to the language of your tissues, fluids and bones.
Tissue is deeply expressive when we take time to listen.
I have been studying the body, deepening my understanding of anatomy and working with touch for the past 20 years. I am well versed and experienced in working with women around:
* Cycle health
* Gynaecological presentations
* Preparation for conception and birth, and recovery after birth
Working with internal pelvic tissue in my practice has shown me that these tissues can communicate exquisitely when listened to with care and sensitivity.
It is so easy to override pelvic tissue — to work too fast, too deep, bluntly or to narrate the work you are doing or receiving with pathology centric statements or fear.
This mapping class will support you to sensitise through listening touch, so that you can receive what you are feeling with greater depth and discernment.
This workshop is centred around self-touch and mapping practice. You will be invited to work with your own body, at your own pace. Everything is optional and no previous experience of touch work is needed.
THIS mapping WORKSHOP will support you to sensitise through listening touch, so that you can receive what you are feeling with greater depth and discernment.
If you’ve felt discomfort or numbness in your pelvis, disconnect from your womb space, if you are on a fertility journey, dealing with gynaecological pathology, the legacy of boundary rupture(s), challenging menstrual cycles, healing from pelvic surgery or wanting to heal after birth, this workshop will offer you the means to explore and be present with what is here now in your body.
When we cultivate the means to listen in a more nuanced way, we are giving our body an opportunity to be held with care, contacted at its own pace and in the way that it is asking for.
This is the gateway towards repair.

I am a Mother, Community care initiator, Acupuncturist, Craniosacral Therapist, Visceral Manipulation practitioner, Post-Partum Doula and offer internal pelvic work as part of a much more holistic approach to integrative pelvic care (care that includes the threads of all the modalities that I work with). What PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT EMILy’s WORKSHOPs…
“Emily is a profound mentor, example and guide on this journey into deeper connection with our innermost body. The knowledge she imparts about our physiology is evidence based but the awareness she engenders is intuitive. She has a magical way of drawing out and honouring the embodied wisdom each person already possesses, rather than seeking to impose it from the outside, so that learning from her feels like rediscovering something you knew all along but wanted to be reminded of. In her groups, she creates a grounded, nourishing environment where I felt truly comfortable, at rest and able to be myself - a perfect atmosphere for discovery and exploration. I took away from this workshop some very practical exercises to use in daily practice, but also an experience of the difference they make, so that I am actually inclined to incorporate them into my everyday life. The sense of a greater aliveness, connection and harmony has remained with me. I’m sure the world would be an even better place to live if everyone had the chance to learn these skills from Emily.”
